Scott
Winters was born in Buffalo New York. His family
home was with in the Town of Tonawanda. If you have
ever been to Niagara Falls you went right through
it on your way out and back into the country. Town
of Tonawanda is home of FMC chemicals, Dupont chemicals,
Niagara Mohawk Power facility as well as every oil
refinery you can think of. His neighborhood was built
to house the workers of these industries back in the
40's. Scott is third generation of this 18 home neighborhood,
and has a very different perspective on the world
because of his roots with in that very small and seemingly
pint point of the world. 18 families in this world
understand the environment he grew up in. 18 families
alone. With in all of this the neighborhood still
had large wooded area's and of course the Niagara
river on its ends. So basically he had the best of
all worlds. Woods,, abandoned factories, the river,
and a very tight nit community in which to grow, and
play.
He has been photo editing others photos for years,
and has learned from some very good teachers about
a eyes capture. Now he finds peace and calmness with
in taking his own. As well as the places he wonders
to capture. |
